Every parent knows that Disney films can keep your kids busy while you work. Disney has fun, wholesome content but you can’t lug DVDs around town.
Well, good news! Disney launched its exclusive entertainment app Disney+ in November. The app and website offers a whole variety of entertainment options. It has Marvel films, National Geographic documentaries, and classic Disney Pixar films.
Disney+ is available for Android and Apple users, even for Apple TV and Android TV. It is compatible with many other devices like smart TVs, Playstation 4, Roku and XBox One.
Disney+ plans provide entertainment options for the entire family. The app will be available in a $12.99 bundle with Hulu and ESPN+. This way the parents can sit down to watch sports and Hulu TV after the kids have watched cartoons.
What’s more, is that you can customize your plans and profiles. Mark out shows for your Kids’ Profiles or create a profile for your own favorite Disney films.
Star Wars fans can even access the newest show, The Mandalorian. And if you’re feeling a bit nostalgic, watch reruns of Hannah Montana and That’s So Raven in 4K UHD and HDR quality.
Disney+ works a bit like Netflix—except better. Like Netflix, you have the choice to either stream the content or download it.
Unlike Netflix, you can use Disney+ to download around 7500 shows and 500 films for offline viewing. This means you don’t even need Wifi for an evening of Disney magic.
Depending on payment plans, you can stream on four to ten devices. The streaming service has many payment options.
But don’t worry! You don’t have to pay right away. There’s a seven-day free trial for you to test out the product. If you like it, you can opt for the £6.99 monthly subscription or the £69.99 annual subscription.
There’s a catch, though. If you live in a region besides North America, you’re out of luck. The app launched in the US, Canada, and the Netherlands on November 12.
It will expand its reach to Western Europe by March 2020. Markets like Asia, South America, and Eastern Europe will get the app by October 2020.
The app is still gaining momentum. It has more than ten million downloads so far. It is the perfect entertainment app for the entire family to enjoy anywhere and anytime.
